Domaine de l’Ermitage is owned and run by
Geraud and Laurence de La Farge.
The cave of Domaine de l’Ermitage
is
the
last of the Menetou-Salon caves to be created.
Its
modern
equipment
is housed
in
an ancient
barn
which has been
nicely
restored.
Planting
of the
vines
started
in 1981
and the
production
of
wine
began
in 2003.
Domaine de l’Ermitage, which
is situated in
the middle of
the
Menetou-Salon
vineyards,
marries
modernism
and
tradition.
To
ensure
quality
and
to reflect the de La
Farge’s passion
for the wine,
harvesting
is
exclusively
manual.
The
Domaine has
9
hectares
in
production,
including
approximately
7
hectares
of
Sauvignon
and
2
hectares
in
Pinot Noir.
